Elia's dad was a gatekeeper before her, when he suddenly got ill and couldn't perform his duties the money immediately stopped. For her family's sake Elia took the post in the stead of her father. Since the age of 16 she has successfully guarded the gates to Vesperium and being the only woman in the position she certainly had a few fans.
